Nikki Carter
I graduated from
Lincoln

High

in 1990
and was raised in
Panaca

Nevada
.
I am a homemaker and reside in
Caliente
,
Nevada
with my
husband and four children.
Being
new to the board, I still have a lot to learn.
The board deals with many different issues, but I believe
the students in or schools are the most important.
I believe it is the responsibility of the board to ensure
that the needs of every student are being met.
I believe, in general, that the administrators and teachers
of
Lincoln
County
are
striving to give kids the best education possible to prepare them
for either higher learning or a vocation.
However, I also think there is always room for improvement.

My goals for the district include making
Lincoln
County
one of
the best districts in the state so that our kids can get the best
education that money can buy.
I believe that the schools in
Lincoln
County
are some
of the best in the state. As
I attend meetings in Carson City as President of Nevada
Association of School Boards, I know that Lincoln County has a
very good reputation, and the State looks up to us as a school
